To ensure that our Mental Health program is suitable for you, we will begin with a complimentary online evaluation. Afterwards, you will be matched with a licensed clinician who will assess your condition and create a thorough treatment plan tailored to your needs. This plan may consist of a blend of self-directed mental health resources, medication, and/or a recommendation to consult with a therapist or psychiatrist.

Moving forward, you will have a brief monthly consultation with a clinician to receive your refill. A reminder text will be sent to you when it’s time to check in.

With this membership, you will receive:

• Regular follow-ups to ensure long-term outcomes.

Please keep in mind that Fixsie Health memberships are not insurance, and they do not include any additional services such as laboratory tests, durable medical equipment, appointments with other providers or specialists that we may refer you to, emergency or in-person urgent care facility visits, or the cost of medication and other referrals. At Fixsie Health, we acknowledge that there is always a degree of risk involved in mental health treatment. However, we firmly believe that the danger of neglecting your mental health is far greater. That’s why our clinicians customize your treatment plan based on your symptoms, requirements, experiences, and preferences.

We are aware that medication affects everyone differently, which is why we place a strong emphasis on regular check-ins. For safety reasons, we do not provide remote treatment for individuals with severe depression or other high-risk conditions.

Simply take our online assessment and consult with a clinician to receive a diagnosis and medication prescription if deemed appropriate. You will also receive regular check-ins to ensure that your treatment plan is effective. 

At Fixsie Health, our clinicians can prescribe a broad range of medications, but we prioritize prescribing the safest first-line treatments for anxiety and depression.

Our clinicians typically initiate treatment by prescribing the lowest effective dose and gradually adjusting it as needed. This approach, combined with bi-weekly check-ins, can help you avoid side effects or detect them early on to prevent them from worsening.

Fixsie Health-affiliated clinicians are not authorized to prescribe Xanax or any other controlled substances for the treatment of anxiety.

However, there are several alternative prescription medications available for anxiety treatment that our clinicians can prescribe. At Fixsie Health, we prioritize making healthcare affordable and accessible to everyone. We do not currently accept insurance to pay for Fixsie Health memberships, one-time virtual visits, or medication shipped through our platform. However, our prices are kept low and in many cases, may be lower than what you would have paid for your insurance copay.

If your clinician prescribes medication for you to pick up at a local pharmacy or orders bloodwork at a lab of your choice, you may use your insurance at those locations.

Fixsie Health is HIPAA-compliant and takes the protection of your personal information and privacy seriously. We adhere to strict security standards to safeguard your data. We are also compliant with various privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). Your data will only be used to improve our services and provide them to you. If you have completed the free assessment and signed up for our services, you can access our licensed clinicians through our patient portal. Once you have logged in, you can choose to start a chat with a clinician at any time. If you have purchased a membership or a one-time virtual visit, you will have access to our clinicians through the portal as well.
